Downtown with Mom and Dad

Joey and I took Monday off and spent the day with Mom and Dad. We took them downtown for a river/lake architectural tour and lunch.

After the boat ride we headed over to Navy Pier and had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Apple Picking

The Sunday following our reception, we all went to Apple Holler to spend the day together.

Mom, Dad, me, Carmelita, Joey, Jim, Sara and Frank.

I couldn't even count the times I have gone apple picking with my family. The one memory that never goes away is Dad teaching me to climb the trees to get the best apples:-)

Chicago Dinner Reception

On September 26th, Carmelita and Jim threw us a second wedding reception to celebrate with our Chicago family:-) We were lucky enough to have my parents join us as well. Dinner was delicious and Jim, Carmelita and Sara clearly put a lot of love and thought into their gifts and speeches. Thank you!
